I hate ironing. It is one of the more enjoyable facts of my life that I have thus far avoided any position that requires attire that requires ironing with regularity. Even after examination I feel that a life of ironing would not be worth living. I don't think I am alone in such thoughts.

And now we are all saved! Costly? Yes. Unconventional? Certainly. But if I can cast aside my Black & Decker teflon coated auto-shut off steaming pile of archaic thinking and that damnable ironing board then then let us rejoice. Let us rally behind this invention in a global display of hope for domestic innovation!

Due in no small part to the efforts of one Ben Sinclair and some guidance from the one and only substitute you may notice a subtle change to this template.

It underscores a simple point: RSS is important! It makes it possible to view and process information from numerous blogs in a fraction of the time it would take using a browser. I am just now beginning to appreciate the joys of NetNewsWire. Using RSS I know when sites are updated, can skim the topics at hand, and decide if I am interested enough to read through them. Gone are the days of surfing to my favorite blogs only to find that they have not been updated. In fact, I am so affected by the usefulness of this tool that it inspired a flurry of posts on that other site.

I said I would post and today I'm setting some kind of record.

Tony Pierce Saves Blog

You know, I love Tony's blog...and he has some of the best advice for non-blogging bloggers (like myself) up right now (scroll down to Miss Puerto Rico). He has helped me see the error of my ways. I will blog again!

And in honor of this return to the fold I have this to say: my god Tony! What the hell is going on with the busblog? It takes forever to load...the rss is fucked (gone?).

Damn fine thing it's so good to read.

Modembyebye is gone...
