Damn Straight!

I suggest, in complete and total seriousness, that certain Christmas songs be banned from public performance during the holiday shopping season. A few popular songs could be selected by legislators and then taken out of rotation during that time. New songs would be chosen each year and the previously selected songs would be re-instated.

This would not prevent people from playing these songs privately in their homes or listening in their cars and thus it seems like a fair compromise.
